Mahabaleshwar is a hill station located in the Western Ghats, in Satara district of Maharashtra, India. It is the largest hill station in the Sahyadri range of Maharashtra state. Ellora Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. It is a series of 34 splendid rock-cut temples and monasteries, dug side-by-side from basaltic cliffs during the 5th to 10th centuries.
