Beijing
Beijing, Jing for short, is the nation’s political, economic, cultural and educational center as well as China’s most important center for international trade and communications. Together with Xian, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Nanjing and Hangzhou, Beijing is one of the six ancient cities in China.
Xi’an
Xi’an is the oldest of China’s Four Great Ancient Capitals, serving as the capital city of 13 dynasties spreading intermittently across a 1,100-year period from 221 BC. It is the capital of Shaanxi province, located in central China, between the Weihe river in the north and the Qinling Mountains in the south. Xi’an is the eastern terminal of the Silk Road. It has a semi-moist monsoon climate and there is a clear distinction between the four seasons.

Guilin
Guilin (Standard Zhuang: Gveilinz), formerly romanized as Kweilin, is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of China ‘s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is situated on the west bank of the Li River and borders Hunan to the north.


Shanghai
China’s largest city is Shanghai, a major commercial and industrial center and one of the world’s largest ports. It is located in east-central China, on the coast of the East China Sea between the mouth of the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) to the north and Hangzhou Bay to the south.
